Pieplant compot

Ingredients

Rhubarb
500 grams
Zest
1 teaspoon
Drinking water
2 litre
Sugar
6 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut off the leaves, the lowest part of the stalk (2-3 cm) and peel them if the stalks are not young.
  2. Cut into 1-2 cm dice.
  3. Boil water. Add sugar and simmer it for five minutes.
  4. Add the rhubarb, zest and boil for another five minutes.
  5. Leave it for a couple of hours to cool down and infuse.
  6. Leave it to cool down and infuse.
