Monte Christo sandwich

Ingredients

Cheese
50 grams
Butter
3 tablespoons
Ham
8 pieces
Milk
100 millilitre
Powdered sugar
2 tablespoons
Hen's egg
4 slices
Loaf
8 slices

Directions

  1. Cut cheese into small pieces. Spread ham and cheese one by one on a baguette. Then cover it with another piece of baguette. Make it three more times.
  2. Whip milk and eggs with a whisk. Heat butter in a frying pan. Put sandwiches one by one in the egg mixture and then place it onthe pan. Fry each side over high heat for 7 - 8 minutes.
  3. Garnish original sandwiches "Monte Cristo" with powdered sugar to taste and eat warm. You can also experiment with a variety of flavors to vary this filling snack.
