  1. Wash fresh salad, cover it with cool water in a cup and put in the fridge. It will make the salad stay fresh and crispy longer. Dry salad leaves on a towel before adding them into a salad bowl.
  2. Cut bread into squares and dry in the oven for a bit.
  3. Heat vegetable oil on a frying pan and fry a chopped garlic clove for a few minutes. Oil will get agrlic flavour, fry toasts on it for a bit.
  4. Cut chicken meat into dice and fry intil ready.
  5. Grate cheese finely, cut tomatoes into halves.
  6. To prepare the sauce: boil eggs, mix yolks in a bowl. Add lemon juice, olive oil, mustard and pressed garlic. Add salt and pepper.
  7. Now put all the ingredients into a dish. Firstly spread dry, torn with your hands salad leaves. Add cherry tomatoes, chicken, cover with sauce and toss gently.
  8. Add toasts, grated cheese and toss slightly.

Author's comment

The main ingredients of Caesar salad are chicken, croutons and Parmesan cheese. A special dressing, which one can prepare by himself/herself or buy a ready-made one in the store, gives it a pecial taste. A simpler alternative is to replace the dressing with mayonnaise.
